Weiss was glad Fred had suggested going on a romantic getaway for Valentine's Day. Sure, she didn't need to go but she felt it might be nice to have a little vacation. It's certainly been awhile since their trip to London. Plus, both of them worked hard at their respective jobs and she figured a break might be good for both of them.
Once they made sure their shops would be taken care of, they made their plans. They had arrived yesterday and did a little exploring. Today, though, their schedule was wide open. "So what should we do today?" she asked, sitting on the bed as she flipped through some brochures. "Maybe do more exploring and some sightseeing? Or we can go to the spa and maybe have dinner afterwards?"

“Oooh, I’ve never been to a spa before,” he said, as she suggested different things for them to do. He’d never been to Morocco before, either, so going to a spa in Morocco sounded like a pleasant time. He decided it sounded relaxing. He settled down on the bed beside Weiss, and kissed her cheek softly.
He was glad that they had come to Morocco, that they’d gotten a romantic getaway for the holiday. While he was sure that they would have had a nice time in Madison Valley, it was still nice to be in a different place for Valentine’s Day.
“I’m just glad we’re here,” he said after a moment. “It’s nice to get away from everything for a while.”
***
"You haven't?" Weiss asked. "You should try it sometimes. Spas are amazing and so relaxing." She'd been to one before, but only a couple times. Yes, her family was rich and could afford to go to all the best spas in Remnant, but sometimes they'd rather work instead of taking it easy and relax. But she definitely enjoyed the times she had gone.
"We should go," she said after a moment, picking up the brochure from the pile and setting it aside. She'd call them in a bit to set things up. For now, she was more content with spending time with Fred. "Me too, especially after that crazy weather." Falling spaghetti and flying sharks? Seriously? That was just way too strange for her.

Fred leaned back against the bed once they decided that they would go to a spa that day. Then they would follow it by a nice dinner. It would be very nice indeed. He peered over at Weiss for a moment. “I’ve never had the money to spend on a spa,” he admitted. “Even when George and I were doing well with the shop, we were too busy with the shop to take time off. It was just the two of us.”
While it was pretty much just he and Ron at the shop in town, it was different. He didn’t feel so much pressure while in Madison Valley. Yes, he worked hard, but he was able to take some time off and spend time with his girlfriend.
Maybe if he’d had someone at home to spend time with, other than George or his family, it would’ve been different.

"We did, of course," Weiss told him. Fred was well aware that she came from a rich and powerful family. Just like she knew his family was the opposite and didn't have very much money. "I've been to a couple spas before. But only for a little awhile. We couldn't always have fun and enjoy ourselves. We had appearances to uphold," she rolled her eyes. Her father always made sure they all looked like a loving family to the public. Behind closed door, though, was a different story.
But she didn't want to think about her family. Maybe Winter but that was it. Nah, she'd rather hear more about Fred's. "So tell me more about your family," she spoke. "I already know Ron, and a bit about George and you mom. What about your dad and your other siblings? What are they like?"
***
He wrapped an arm around Weiss, and considered her question. “I have three elder siblings. Bill, Charlie, Percy. Bill works as a curse breaker for Gringotts, the bank. He got attacked by Fenrir, a werewolf. But he isn’t a werewolf. Charlie trains dragons in Romania. He’s a good bloke, that Charlie. Not that the rest of my siblings aren’t. Then there’s Percy, he worked for the Ministry of Magic. He was kind of a prat for a while, but I think he finally started to get over it.” He nodded a bit at this, he didn’t hold anything against Percy.
“Then you know Ron and George. Then there’s my youngest sibling, Ginny. She’s the first girl born to a Weasley in generations. She’s fierce. I love my little sister.” Then he realized that might imply that he didn’t love the rest of his siblings, but he had a feeling that Weiss wouldn’t take it like that.
“Ron and Ginny were still in school when I got pulled here. Well, kind of. Ron stopped going to school for his seventh year at Hogwarts to go help Harry. But he would have been in school if he’d not.”
***
Weiss cuddled up to Fred, getting comfortable as she listened. She enjoyed hearing him talk about his family. They seemed close and warm towards each other. Quite the opposite of what her own family was like. Not even her own mother showed any warmth and love towards her, always preferring to drink alone. Only Winter showed her some kindness but even then, she didn't show affection toward Weiss often either.
"I wish I could meet them all. Especially your sister, she seems cool." It seemed possible, she had met both George and Ron after all. But the Dome was unpredictable at best and who knows if she ever would.
***
Fred enjoyed talking about his family. He missed them terribly, especially George. But the fact that Ron was here made missing the rest of his family more tolerable. He was glad to have his little brother here. It would be strange having none of his family here. Family was important to Fred.
“I think you would like Ginny,” he said after a moment. “I think she would like you, too.” He hoped she would, anyway. Weiss was important to Fred, he wanted his family to like her. Not that he thought they wouldn’t. He had a strong feeling they would.
“Mum and Dad would, too.”
***
"Hey, she sounds cool. You know I love fellow cool girls," Weiss grinned. If there was anything she liked, it was girls that could stick up and fight for themselves. Her teammates were like that and so was her sister. She had a feeling Ginny was the same. She must've had to be, considering she grew up with so many older brothers.
"What about your dad?" she asked when he mentioned his parents. "What's he like?"
***
Ginny was definitely the type to stand up for herself, and fight for herself. She was a fierce, fierce girl. Fred rather liked his younger sister. He didn’t just like her because she was his little sister, though, he liked her because she was a good person.
“My dad? He’s fantastic. He worked for the Ministry of Magic, like Percy. Except he worked with Muggle items that were inappropriately charmed. The misuse of Muggle artifacts. He is fascinated by Muggles and anything Muggle. It might be where I got it from.”
Actually, he was fairly sure that’s where he got it from.
***
Weiss nodded as she listened to him talk about his father. He sounded like a wonderful man. Definitely a lot more than her own father, who was pretty much the opposite. Sometimes it still surprised her how different her life was from Fred's and how different their families were. "Oh, I'm positive that's where you get it from," she smirked a bit, teasing him a little.
And as much as she enjoyed talking about his family, she knew they only had a few days to their vacation and should make the most of it. "We should probably set up an appointment at the spa," she said, reaching to grab the brochure and perusing it. "I think I'll get a back and shoulder massage for myself." She never complained or anything, but running a business was certainly hard work.
"What about you?" she handed him the brochure so he could see what the spa offered.
