Layla watched somewhat timidly as he reviewed her work and once he'd pointed out the issue, she felt like a total dummy for missing it in the first place.
"There's way too many steps to this," she complained as she took her notepad back to do the required remaining step. It was hard to keep track of the complex equations and although she was trying her best, it definitely was taking some reminding to tell herself that she didn't have to be perfect with it. That it was okay to not get an A. She just also didn't want to get a C or anything lower than that.
"Thanks," Layla added, a bit belatedly. She probably should have led with that. "If I do this next one, will you check it over once I'm done?"
