Hiccup was worried. He was definitely very worried about the fact that there were sharks in the storm that was as destructive as it was unbelievable. He wasn't sure how it was even possible for sharks to get swept up into the storm but it became clear very early on that he couldn't leave Toothless on his own right now. It wasn't easy at all, but he found his way to the dragons and he and Toothless took to the sky, Stormfly on their flank. They'd never been in a storm this bad and Hiccup was thankful that it wasn't frigid cold temperatures otherwise they'd have real problems.
Even just trying to fly somewhere safe, they were bombarded with sharks. Both of the dragons fought back, blasting their way to char the sharks that came at them. Hiccup could definitely feel his adrenaline pumping as they flew, unable to find even a remotely safe place to land or hide out in the storm. "Aurie." It was barely more than a whisper, but Toothless' ears perked up and he changed direction, toward Erik and Aurie's home. That was where they saw her most frequently after all.
Shark after shark got left charred to a crisp as they flew toward their destination. It took far longer than Hiccup would have liked. This time, the dragons landed right at the back door and stood guard as Hiccup ran up and started to bang on the backyard door. "Erik! Erik are you alright?" Toothless and Stormfly would fend off any sharks that needed it right now.
