Carson appeared from the opposite side of the hallway. Caitlin was still coming to know the other employees at the clinic. Though they had already seen the worst of Caitlin in Killer Frost and there was not really anything much worse personality-wise than that. Still, Caitlin remained somewhat distant outside of anything related to work. In a way, that was okay with Caitlin because she didn't want to grow too attached to anyone least they leave...like Barry. She couldn't afford any triggers. Regardless, she offered him a smile as he approached and asked Lorna about her and the baby.
Caitlin kept one ear on the conversation as she steered all three of them into a small conference room and shut the door behind them. She could have set them up in an office, but she figured more space was for the best. She'd already set out a few bottles of water too because hydration was important...especially when you were pregnant. Caitlin settled into one of the empty seats, being sure to pull out a chair for Lorna so that the young woman wouldn't need to. Even if Lorna hadn't admitted to being stressed, Caitlin could pick up on tone in her voice and there was an obvious note of anxiety audible in it.
"After hearing all of that from Dawn? I don't blame you for being stressed Lorna," Caitlin replied sincerely. "That's a lot to take in, but I am glad to hear the baby is doing good." She also appreciated Lorna wanting to keep them in the loop about everything; it showed she did trust the two of them and that was needed if they were going to come through the pregnancy and birthing okay. Particularly Lorna and Dawn. "And we appreciate you wanting to share it with us and keep us in the loop because it's obviously important for this entire process. I know Carson and I will try to help as much as possible."
