That smile. There is nothing that Max wouldn't do to see that smile. Wouldn't do when she saw that smile. It was a true happy expression. Oh, Chloe had a troublemaker grin more than anything else and Max liked that one too. It always told her something crazy was about to go down and more than likely she'd end up a part of it. There was no place else she would rather be though, but beside Chloe. Her partner in crime since childhood.
"Hey. I was standing with purpose. Total purpose," Max replied, folding her arms upon her chest and feigning a serious expression. It faded quickly though because she knew Chloe could see through it. "Honestly? My head is just trying to wrap itself around everything about this place. I'm just grateful you're here too. I know I'd be going crazy right now other wise." Well, not crazy exactly because Max was way too reserved for that, but she would be a lot less accepting in a brooding, staying in her apartment all day kind of way.
"Uh, I briefly stopped in because arcade? I couldn't help myself. You know me. I'm a complete nerd about stuff like that, but what about you? How are you doing?"
