WHO: Qrow, Nikita, and Mia WHAT: More kid stuff WHEN: Monday [backdated] WHERE: In town WARNINGS: TBD STATUS: Closed / Incomplete gdoc; to be continued
Some people were okay with having future children show up. Others weren't as happy. Qrow was definitely part of the latter group. Because of his Semblance and the bad luck it often brought to him, he felt like it was better that he didn't get close to anyone. Certainly not close enough to start a family. He never wanted his bad luck to affect his children.
But the Dome had other ideas and so far, he got a surprise when two twin children showed up, claiming her was their father and Elsa was their mother. He had spent most of the day getting to know them and he found himself not as unhappy as he thought he would be. He wasn't sure why, but he actually didn't mind the kids too much.
Right now, though, he had gone out for a bit while Elsa took care of the twins. As he was walking, a little girl came up to him. "Dad! Thank god I found you!" she ran up to him, wrapping her arms around him. Qrow blinked, not quite sure what to say or do.
Mia glanced up at him. "Where's Mom?"
Again, Qrow had no idea what to say. He couldn't exactly just say 'I don't even know who your mom is', could he? As if Mia somehow knew, she ended up grabbing his phone out of his pocket before Qrow could protest. She browsed on it for a moment before finding what she wanted, sending her mom a quick message.
Hey, Mom! It's Mia! I'm with Dad and using his phone right now. Where are you?
*** The topic of kids was always off the table when it came to Nikita. When Michael had brought it up, she shut that down very quickly. How was someone as screwed up as her meant to have kids? Ignoring the fact of how she was in a horrible foster home or the fact that she was an assassin, the last person who should ever even think about having kids for so many reasons was her. The world had so many better options to pick from than her, and it was the reason she never thought twice about having a kid. Or at least she hadn’t until now.
A kid with Birkhoff was the last thing Nikita expected until Calix who had managed to get her attention. The child was adorable, but the fact it was hers still had her weirded out by the fact some version of her somewhere had decided to have kids. Then again at least it was only one While hanging out with her son, Nikita’s phone went off, pulling it out to see a message causing her face to go as white as it could on her.
Seriously? Why did she have another kid? Looking over at Calix who was busy with Birkhoff, she didn’t know if she was ready to deal with two kids of her in one place, making her decide it was best to meet this one, then do the introduction thing. Part of her was amused how Mia was taking charge already with the fact she somehow took Qrow’s phone and was sending her a message. Nikita couldn’t deny the fact it sounded way too much like her.
Hey, Mia. I was meeting your half-brother, I guess you can say. How about you and your dad pick a place for me to meet you two and I’ll come to you?
Nikita was pretty sure it was going to end up more with Mia picking the place from the sounds of it; however, two kids was hopefully all this dome had in store for her. Leaning back in the seat, she kept an eye on the kid while waiting for a reply from Mia.

Qrow was definitely okay with letting Mia handle things for now. He was a bit too stunned at the moment to really do anything. He suppose having children with Elsa made a little more sense considering they were dating right now. But having a daughter with a woman he didn't really know and only spoke to a couple times? That was a bit out there for him. But it was the Dome and the things it did never made any sense.
While he was busy pondering things, Mia took a quick glance around before returning to Qrow's phone and typing out another message. We're near Horst's Little Bakery Haus. How about we meet there? she suggested, hitting send.
