Who: Tamsin and Ronnie
What: Cuddles
Where: Their room at Kenny's
When Tonight
Warning: None
It had been quite strange for Tamsin to be in Madison when her dad was younger and her mom was, well, alive. She'd never met her before. Dagny had died during childbirth and she was raised by Kenny who did the best he could. But now she had the chance to meet her mother.
And she had. She'd just got done spending the day with Dagny and by then she was exhausted. She had so many emotions running in her mind, she didn't know what to think. Luckily, Ronnie had came along with her. She was Tamsin's best friend and confidante, also her new girlfriend as they just started dating recently.
She was visiting her dad and Ronnie for the night, heading into the room where Ronnie was staying. "Scoot over," she said, climbing into bed with the other girl.

Talk about a weird day. She woke up in a house full of kids that she’d never met and if she hadn’t grown up in Madison Valley, it would have really freaked her out. She took it all in stride and she was glad when she finally had some alone time. While the little ones were all stuck in the sun room, she had her own space in what used to be Jo’s room. Thank God for that because she wouldn’t have been able to take it if had to sleep downstairs with the others.
The only good thing about this trip to the past so far was that Tamsin was there with her. The two of them had been attached at the hip for as long as she can remember and she didn’t know what she would do without her, especially since they’d just met the leap from best friends to girlfriends recently. That right there would have made her miss the girl even more if she hadn’t come with her.
“So bossy” She teased, doing as she was asked and moving over. Once Tamsin wsa in bed with her, she pulled the covers up and wrapped her arms around her. “I’m so glad you’re here with me”

"Very funny," Tamsin rolled her eyes as she got in bed next to Ronnie, though she broke into a grin afterwards. It was how things were for them - they often liked to tease each other, but it was never in a mean-spirited way. It was just them having fun.
"Same," she sighed, cuddling up to her girlfriend. "So how was your day?" she asked curiously. While they were close and spent a lot of time together, they still did their own separate things as well. Today was one of those days, where both spent time with their younger parents and met some of the younger kids they happened to be related to.

“Ugh” Ronnie said as she buried her head into Tamsin’s shoulder for a moment. When that moment was over, she lifted her head up and moved some blonde hair out of her eyes. “I have, like, five brothers and sisters now”
Okay she was being a little over dramatic but she didn’t like having siblings. She’d had them before in her foster homes but when Tea and Carmilla adopted her, she became an only child and she really liked that. Now she had to get used to having siblings again and she was not a fan. “They’re all asleep in the sun room. I’m SO glad I have my own room” That was a blessing for sure.
“Did you have a fun day with your mom?”
***
Tamsin frowned sympathetically, giving Ronnie a comforting squeeze. "I know how you feel. I have a bunch of siblings now, thanks to my dad being a total slut," she rolled her eyes. She never really wanted another sibling. Ronnie had always been more than enough, but now she had a bunch of them and she didn't like it. At all.
"I'm glad you do. And that I can stay here with you." Because alone time with Ronnie? Was one of Tamsin's favorite things in the world.
At the mention of her day, she sighed. "It was... good," she replied. "A bit emotional. I mean, my mom died and I never got to know her. But now she's here and alive and... yeah," she sighed. "But it was great, all in all."
***
Ronnie had to laugh at Tamsin calling her dad a slut. “From what Mama T has told me about life before us? That sounds about right” Knowing and and how this place worked, she wouldn’t be surprised if he had more than what she saw at the house early that morning. She hoped she had no more siblings from her mothers. Three was more than enough.
“Me too. I don’t think I could ever share. Now hopefully they all know how to knock so we can keep having alone time” She said with a sweet smile as she leaned up to give her a kiss.
“You have pictures, right? I wanna see what she looks like” She asked as she cuddled back up against her. “What’s she like?”
***
Well, it was true. From the stories she'd heard, her dad slept around quite often. Not that she wanted to think about that, so she shook the thought from her head. Besides, Ronnie was kissing her and that was way better than anything else in the world, really. "I sure hope so," she grinned into the kiss. "I do like alone time with you."
She nodded, rolling over slightly to grab her phone from the night table. She pulled up some of the photos she'd taken of her mom earlier. "There she is," she said, showing Ronnie the picture. She let her have her phone so she could scroll some more if she wanted.
"She's... I don't know. Pretty much what my dad told me. She's pretty, smart, funny, and so on. I've always wanted to meet her and I did, but it was still so weird, y'know?"
***
Taking the phone, she leaned back against the headboard as she scrolled through the pictures. It made her so happy that Tamsin got a chance to meet her mom. Without the dome this world never be possible. ”You look so much like her” She commented, listening to her as she talked about what she was like. “Now that you got over that hump, you can just enjoy having her around. I mean who knows how long we’re going to be here” She pointed out as she handed the phone back. Leaning over, Ronnie turned off the night so the moon was the only light in the room as she laid back down and cuddled against her again. She wasn’t ready to go to sleep yet but she didn’t want to have to bother with the light later. “Wanna explore town tomorrow? I wanna see if anything has changed”
***
"Right?" While she could see some of her father in her, it was quite obvious that Tamsin looked so much more like her mother. "I'm definitely going to try and make the most of my time here." Because Ronnie was right - who knows how long they're be here, how long she had time to spend with her mom. Even better, they happened to arrive just in time for Christmas. Getting to spend time with her mom had to be the best Christmas gift she could ever hoped for.
She snuggled closer to Ronnie, pulling the blankets over the both of them. "Definitely. I'm kinda curious too what has changed."

The two of them chatted more about their days and eventually fell asleep in each others arms, the weirdness of the day floating away as things often did when they were with each other. It’s why they made the perfect best friends and lovers.
