Who: Caitlin Snow and Alex Danvers What: Running into each other at Starbucks When: Sunday morning Where: Starbucks Rating: TBD
True to her network post, Caitlin found herself at Starbucks bright and early on Sunday morning to order her peppermint mocha. Bundled up in her winter gear, the brunette padded into the coffee chain, bustling even on a Sunday morning, and made her way to the counter to order her drink. She was scheduled at the clinic today and while most people would be upset at having to work on the weekend, Caitlin actually looked forward to it. It was a much needed distraction from the other side of her personality, Killer Frost. While the evil side of herself was always present and sadly accounted for, when Caitlin was in the office, she could focus on something else outside of Killer Frost's barrage of insults and taunting. Mostly, this was because that part of her actually became bored.
Regardless, Caitlin was fine with working anyway because she liked helping people. It was just part of her nature. If she could save a life, bring one into this world, and yes learn? Caitlin was the happiest person in the world. Being that she didn't have many friends here, working only helped to keep her from delving into that too much. Sometimes, part of her believed it was better that she didn't have a lot of friends because of Killer Frost. Maybe being alone was for the best. It was why she had left Team Flash in the first place; she couldn't face her friends after what she had done and she couldn't be a liability to the team as well as a danger because of the state she was in. She kind of believed the same thing was true in Madison Valley. It was better if she kept herself away from the general populace as much as possible and maybe not get too attached to anyone given how she'd reacted when Barry left.
Reaching the counter at last, Caitlin put in her order for a peppermint mocha and stepped off to the side. Surprisingly, it did not take her long to receive her drink and having found herself with plenty of extra time, she decided to take a seat at a table by the window and enjoy a few sips of her coffee before she had to go running off to the clinic.
