Who: Owen Grady and OTA What: Taking a walk When: Sunday evening Where: Edge of town Warnings: Not likely Status: OPEN
Owen hadn't been to work for a few days because of the holiday. he'd spent most of that time either eating, watching television, or sleeping. He needed to get out and stretch his legs. He was far more accustomed to a warmer climate, but he'd grown up in an area that experienced the four seasons, so he wasn't a stranger to the cold. He dressed appropriately, at least, and headed to the shelter to feed and check on the animals.
Most of the dogs greeted him with barks and tail wags, but he noticed one of them hardly reacted at all. "Hey Rocky," Owen opened the cage door and reached into pet the shepherd. Rocky thumped his tail but didn't really have much reaction. "You feeling lonely, buddy? What do you think about taking a walk? You wanna go for a walk?"
Rocky perked up a bit at that. Owen clipped a leash on his collar and headed out, leaving the other dogs barking and carrying on. He'd give some of them more attention when he came back with Rocky. They headed toward the woods, with Rocky keeping pace at Owen's side.
