Lorna & Phil
“You really have that down to the number when you go exact number,” Lorna pointed out. She really doubt if she was here that long, she’d have the number down like that and it’d be a bunch of rounding up. The whole counting made it more like a prison sentence, which in a way it was, but this place was a lot better than some jail cell.
That made sense, people went where they knew others, and the longer you were in a place those social circles build. “Just means more food on your end when you know more people. Also means a longer food coma from all the turkey and crap. Who’s your wife?” Lorna had been told by Cassie how this guy was alright even if Lorna still wanted to find out for herself, which so far he seemed fine. Though she figured his wife was fine as well, Lorna wanted to know for sure.
“Yeah, I ended up invited to this one, which is pretty much the only reason I came. Didn’t need to start off being rude so early,” Lorna shrugged as she took a small bite of the food on her plate, letting him talk as she enjoyed the food.
