WHO: Eddie Castile and OPEN WHAT: Getting out some of his frustration WHEN: Friday evening WHERE: The Gym WARNINGS: TBD, probably none STATUS: Open/Ongoing
This had been a difficult week for Eddie. Arriving in this place, having Jill older than he remembered. Finding out he had a relationship with her that had ended painfully. Mason's presence here. Trying to figure out how to tell him that he was dead. His argument with Lissa over how best to Guard the Moroi here. Everything was strange and difficult, and Eddie couldn't really say that he'd enjoyed his time in Madison Valley so far. Maybe it would get better, maybe it wouldn't, but right now the only thing for him to do was to try to get some of this frustration out.
He went for a run, and on his way back, decided to stop by the gym. The run by itself wasn't doing much to help him. Thankfully, he'd worn shorts and a t-shirt on his run, so he was dressed more or less appropriately.
Starting with weights, he did his whole circuit. There was nothing about Eddie that would scream out that he was any more than human, but his strength and his endurance were exceptional. He could be human...but he would definitely be of the Olympic athlete caliber. That was why he had faked asthma and hadn't participated in any of the sports at Amberwood - he didn't want to expose them by being so good.
Finishing his workout, he grabbed a towel and wiped the sweat from his forehead. The workout had helped a bit, and his problems were looking...well, not solved. But perhaps solvable. It was an important distinction. Looking around, he was trying to decide if he wanted to run his circuit one more time. It would be pushing him, but wasn't that what working out was all about?
