Who: Clark Kent and Kitty Norville What: Chatting and Figuring Things Out When: Saturday after speed dating (backdated) Where: The streets to Kitty's place Warnings: TBD Status: Closed/On-going
Clark had felt all evening that he shouldn't have been there and it was a feeling that had faded away almost immediately when he'd sat across from Kitty. He shouldn't have been surprised they'd been paired up, knew that Molly had had a hand in everything and was sure that her priorities included one of the dates she'd set up working out. He hadn't thought of that, though, just been glad to see her and it had been a quick thing to decide to sneak away before the five minutes was up. He'd much rather be with her than anyone else there anyway.
He kept her hand in his as they left the building, moving slowly as they walked toward her place. Clark wasn't in a hurry to part company.
"Do you think we ought to decide what this is?" he asked while they walked through the quiet streets. They'd agreed already that they were important to one another and that they were interested in spending more time together but spending time together only made Clark want more of it and he really wasn't someone for casual relationships. It was either one or it wasn't.
