Emily considered that for a moment. "No, I don't think that's necessary," she said. "I'll probably just invite everyone anyway." It didn't really matter if people knew Archie or not, they could all come to celebrate his eighteenth birthday, just like the bonfire he'd organized for her was open to everyone. "My boyfriend is turning eighteen in January and I was thinking it would be a fun way to celebrate."
Most of the teenagers in town hung out a lot even if they weren't super close friends and Archie got along with everyone. The only issue might be if adults wanted to come, like his parents or her uncle. "Would it be okay if people who are over 21 were here for it?" she asked.
