Who: Delirium and Setsuna What: Meeting/Del performing illusions When: Wednesday, October 3. Where: A park near the business district Warnings: Probably none?
Status: Closed/complete
Delirium had had way too much fun being a traveling performer in the Wild West, and she saw absolutely no reason why she shouldn't continue. Unfortunately none of the rest of her troupe seemed to want to join her (or at least, Madison had seemed to very adamantly not want to join her), but Delirium wasn't one to let a little thing like that stop her. Besides, with her usual powers back, she was more than capable of doing an entire show by herself. She could make anything she wanted. Anything at all.
Her business sense wasn't the best, so she hadn't put out a hat or anything. Nor had she put much thought into where she was performing. She thought of it as a business, so she had gone near the business district; but the roads had seemed too narrow for her to be able to have much fun, so she'd gone into a park. There, she was making all sorts of pretty illusions - neon butterflies, and interactive constellations that followed people around as they walked, and shape-shifting clouds of glittering insects that flew up in fireworks-like displays, and all sorts of other things. She even did some small things like what she had done in the wild west - disappearing coins, juggling scarves (though she juggled them into way more complex shapes than physics would normally allow) and the like. At one point she became a dragon and flew around the heads of some kids who had stopped to watch, then gave them a ride on her back when they asked. She never had a huge audience, but a few families did stop to watch, and those who did seemed astonished. It made Delirium feel good.
She was starting to get tired and a little bored when she noticed someone watching who looked oddly familiar, though at first she couldn't quite place her. Del lost concentration as she stared at the person, and her illusions became less controlled and more erratic, less distinct forms and more just swirling colors and patterns.
