Who: Fred Weasley and Weiss Schnee. What: A trip to London. Where: London. When: Monday, October 1. Warnings: TBD. Status: Closed | Incomplete | Started in GDocs.
Fred wasn’t sure what to expect from this version of London. He knew it wouldn't be the same London he knew, but it had to be similar. At least to Muggle London, anyway. And he was excited to share this with Weiss. He wanted to share as much with her as possible.
“Do you want to go get dinner? Or maybe go see a show?” He was lounging on the bed in the hotel room, being rather lazy. He was hungry, though.
*** Weiss was glad to go on vacation, especially after the most recent bout of Dome craziness. While she liked the idea of being sisters with Elsa, she wasn't too sure about secretly dating Stuart and helping him and his band of outlaws rob the bank. She simply wasn't the type to go on some bank heist. And while she adored Stuart, she only liked him as a close friend. So yes, a vacation was definitely needed.
She'd never been to London before but she was excited to see what it had to offer. She was currently lying on the bed with Fred, glancing over at him. "Why not both?" she suggested. "Dinner first then go to a show?"
***
Fred rolled over onto his side, in order to face Weiss. He leaned toward her, and placed a quick kiss on her lips. “I definitely think we should do both,” he agreed. The trouble with that, though, was that Fred wasn’t sure what shows were playing at the moment. But he was sure he could easily find out, with little trouble.
“Then,” he said, with a slight smile, “I'm going to bring you back here. And maybe, if you're willing, have my way with you.” And with that, Fred got up off the bed, to go find something appropriate to wear. ***
"Great," she smiled as she returned the kiss. She didn't know either but they could probably ask the workers downstairs. And she was also sure she'd seen a shelf of pamphlets in the lobby too. Surely they had some information they wanted.
She blushed a little at his words, but she quickly recovered. "Play your cards right and maybe I'll allow that," she told him with a slight grin. Because she wasn't just going to give in so easily. She liked having him work for it most of the time.
***
“We're in London. That's as good a reason as any,” he said with a grin. He leaned in and kissed her quickly, before going to the closet where he'd stored his clothing.
He rifled through the clothes he had brought, and selected a nice pair of pants and a shirt. He held them out for Weiss to inspect, he trusted her judgment when it came to fashion.
“You think this will work? I'm still adjusting to wearing Muggle clothes all the time.”
*** "Uh huh," she rolled her eyes, but still smiled against his lips.
She got up and walked over to him so she could get a better look at the clothes he'd picked out. It wasn't a surprise he was asking for her opinion. She always well dressed no matter the occasion. "Actually, I'd go with a darker pair of pants," she told him. She rummaged through his clothes and pulled out what she was looking for.
"There," she held them up to him. "This should go good with that shirt."
***
Fred was glad that Weiss was willing to help him choose clothing from time to time. While he wasn’t completely hopeless, it was nice to know she didn’t seem to mind when he came to her on occasion with fashion help. She was always so well put together, it was hard not to go to her.
“Thank you,” he said, before giving her one more kiss. He then proceeded to change into the clothing she had so kindly helped him pick out. “What kind of food are you in the mood for? London has all sorts of food. Indian, Thai, Chinese, Italian… whatever strikes your fancy.”
Once he was finished changing, he peered toward the blonde woman. “How do I look? Stunning?”
*** Weiss didn't mind helping Fred pick out the best clothes. While she was certainly more used to expensive name brands, she did managed to deal with whatever he had just fine and found something that made him look quite handsome.
She paused while he went to change, checking through her own wardrobe to pick a dress for herself. "Chinese sounds good," she called out to him. She hadn't had Chinese in awhile. Perhaps it was time to have it again.
"You look handsome as always," she smiled, walking over to him and kissing him. "I just need to change and we can be on our way."
***
“Chinese it is, then,” he said with a grin. He settled onto one of the chairs in the room as he waited for Weiss to change clothes. He had no doubt that she would look lovely in whatever she chose to wear, she always did. He decided he was lucky to have her in his life, though he’d known this for some time now. And not just because she looked good in whatever she wore.
He smiled at her words, and returned her kiss. “And you, my love, are gorgeous. You’re always gorgeous.” Fred grinned at her, and kissed her once more.
