"I've been working for a couple years now, moving from place to place. I haven't ever met anyone like you, Miss Molly." Lance genuinely did enjoy her company and found her to be a good mix of different things. She'd certainly been kind to him before he'd gone and made a mess of everything. The ribbons he had for her, he'd give her later. Right now, he was more interested in spending time with her because she wanted to, not because she felt like she had to.
