Who: Elizabeth and the Danvers family (multiple threads welcomed) What: visiting Where: Danvers farm When: late afternoon Warnings: possible references to rape/murder

While Elizabeth wasn't direct family to Ella and Kate, she still wished to keep in contact. It had been her habit to atleast visit once a week, to see how things were going and check in on Max. Plus, it was nice to just get out of town for a bit.
The more serious side of her was worried. By now, word of the murder had spread, and Elizabeth felt compelled to check in on Ella and the rest of the family. Though she didn't think anyone would go all that way just to kill someone, memories of what happened to her cousin were still fresh, and she knew well enough that poor Ella still suffered from the attack long after the physical wounds had healed. That the victim was a respectable woman and not a whore probably made things worse.
Thankfully, her visiting wasn't a sudden habit either, but one that had been going on for awhile. She usually finished her work early enough to make the journey to the farm on her own, but this time it wasn't a question about one of the other boys traveling with her, atleast till the outskirts. After that, well, anyone who worked at the smithy wasn't someone to easily take down, and away from places to hide, she would have an easier time keeping an eye out. Someone also lent her a pistol whenever she made the journey, and while it may not be proper (indeed, she didn't even like the idea of shooting someone), she knew she'd feel safer armed than completely defenseless.
It was late afternoon when she arrived on the property, carrying a small bag incase she was compelled to stay the night. However risky she was, traveling back after dark wasn't even something she'd attempt.
