Lavernius the Postmaster was always cheerful. He enjoyed his job, enjoyed greeting folks in passing, and enjoyed coming home to his wife and son. He worked hard even if, at times, letters seemed to get jumbled or lost. There were some that were delivered to the incorrect individual, yes, but Lavernius would object. He delivered them to the intended individual. He knew better than to trust the address at times.
Their own bundle of mail in his hands, Lavernius wore a bright smile as he approached their home. Easily skipping a step or two, his attention was always given to Raven first. A kiss to the top of her head with a hand against her tummy.
"Shoulda seen the look on Riggs' face when I handed him his mountain of letters." Which likely had a mixture of other letters not belonging to him. "Think the man never got mail before," Lavernius laughed as he picked up Rocco.
