Who: Diana Meade Jackson and Nico Jackson What: A normal evening at home for them When: Monday evening Where: Their house Warnings: TBA Status: Closed/On-going
Diana's life was nothing terribly exciting, but she loved it anyway. She had everything she'd ever wanted: friends who cared about her, a nice house to live in, and a husband who loved her. Yes, Nico wasn't the sort of man she'd imagined herself marrying, but he was absolutely wonderful to her and that was by far the most important thing. He took good care of her, trusted her, loved her. He was what she'd needed.
They hadn't even been married a year yet, but she already couldn't imagine things being different. She didn't particularly want to, either. She was perfectly happy with her life, thank you.
A quick glance at the one clock in their house told her that it was getting later, but she wasn't particularly worried. Given Nico's job, his shifts and his hours could be unusual. She was capable of keeping herself safe if necessary -- her brother-in-law had insisted on Nico's making sure she knew how to fire a gun, and that there was one in the house even if it was never needed. It wasn't late enough to worry, though, not nearly. And since it wasn't, she'd set about finishing up dinner preparations while trusting that Nico would be home soon.
