Reileen and York
"Reading's a good one. I'm enjoying reading about the history of this place, mostly cobbling together the likely truth based on the various recountings." No one remembered everything perfectly and he knew as well as anyone that sometimes the 'official' history wasn't what actually happened. Whoever won controlled the narrative, after all. It was a puzzle and one he enjoyed working on in his spare time.
"Sounds like the potential to do a lot of good," York observed. Privately he though there was a lot of potential for things to go wrong, but she didn't need to see his negativity. "For me, I'd prefer to not do anything," he replied truthfully. "Was in the military back in my world. I could use the break. Working at Training Terrain is as close to not working as i think I'm going to get." It took his mind off things, filled his days, so it wasn't so bad.
He reached into the bowl and pulled out another slip of paper. "What is the most annoying habit someone can have?" York was interested in her answer first so he shot her a look as if to say she could answer before him.
