"Only a little," she replied. "But it was an educated guess." Turner smiled and nudged her shoulder with his. "Guess that means you're spending enough time with me that I'm getting to know you better." That was a positive as far as she was concerned and she hoped that he thought so, too.
As he suggested, she led the way and they started their circuit through the rides. There weren't many that they skipped but they managed to hit all the rides they wanted to without having to spend an absurd amount of money on tickets. Turner was definitely having a blast and she felt like a teenager again, like she was getting an experience that she'd never really had before.
They'd saved the ferris wheel for last and Turner was glad for it when they got to see the fair from above. "This was a lot of fun. You're a pretty good date," she teased him. He was an excellent date.
