Corso Riggs and Susan Turner
She'd missed having fun in her life. Everything had been so focused, every action measured and well thought out to advance her career and do right by the American people. This relationship was so much different than any she'd ever had before because he'd gotten past her walls with relative ease. Turner hadn't even realized it until she thought about talking to Evan about him. There was just something about Corso that drew her in like a moth to a flame. Except she didn't think she was going to get burned.
"Rides first and then I'll try all your favorite fried finds?" she suggested. Turner definitely didn't want to test just how strong her stomach was by eating all kinds of fried things before going on rides. There were some decent looking thrill rides that she wanted to check out and others that she hadn't been on since childhood. "I might want to try every ride except the kiddie ones," she warned him with a grin. She wasn't worried about him saying no or turning his nose up at any of the rides because of all his excitement. Plus, it was nice that he waited on them to do with her. It made her feel special, like she mattered to him. Like she wasn't wrong for mentioning him to Evan.
