Briar & Cassie
Cassie was at the fair because it was kind of fun watching people get all worked up over the rigged games or eating so much that they puked on the rides. Plus, there were fireworks tonight and that could be cool. She'd find a place to sit soon enough and pass the time working on some of the drawings in her sketchpad.
She was minding her own business walking through the crowds when someone tugged on her hair. Somehow, she wasn't surprised to find Briar standing right next to her when she turned to see who'd done it. Cassie rolled her eyes at him. "Name hasn't changed," she pointed out as she slipped through the crowd. It nearly reminded her of being on the run and how busy those places had been. She'd kind of missed it.
"What are you doing here?" He didn't strike her as the sort to want to be at a fair so she was curious.
