Laurel Lance & Open
Laurel had spent a majority of the weekend grading papers, but she finally managed to pull herself away to enjoy the last day of the fair. Normally, this was not the sort of setting she enjoyed spending her time in, but it was an experience if nothing else and the food was cheap. Cheap and bad for you, but Laurel tended to try and not think about the last part of that statement. You could indulge once and a while without it hurting you too bad.
Arriving, Laurel headed over to one of the many food stands and glanced over the menu. A lot of the food available reminded her of her childhood and all those times her father would take Sara and her to places like this. For a moment, the thought made Laurel crack a smile, but with it came the pang in her heart. She missed her father and the fact that she would never see him again because she was dead back home hurt very much.
