Cassie Sandsmark & Hiccup
He recognized her as one of the very adept who'd raced dragons when there had been a portal to Berk. Cassie, if his memory was right. Seeing her excitement made him smile, even if it didn't quite reach his eyes for the moment.
"I don't think the people who've always lived here would enjoy having a great many dragons in town," he admitted. "I was shocked to discover Toothless and Stormfly, after the clock. They've settled in nicely, in part because the forest is large enough for them to run around and play. They keep clear of heavily populated areas, though I suspect Star was able to convince them to come here with all the food she's set out for them." Piles and piles of fish, which they were happily going back to every so often while they played.
Hiccup looked at her curiously when she asked if they could come to her birthday party, too. "It would have to be outside, secluded," he replied, "but...I don't see why not." Cassie had been particularly good with the dragons in Berk and maybe more socialization would be good for Toothless and Stormfly. They'd have people they trusted if he was ever taken home, too.
