Jughead & Archie
He was reasonably encouraged by Archie's insistence that he'd get it taken care of. Jug didn't like being mad at his best friend, but his annoyance wouldn't just disappear in an instant. He did want to put this behind them so they could at least enjoy the Heritage Day thing for a little bit longer.
"Course you're buying me something nice," he replied, forcing a bit of a smile. "We're gonna go look around the food booths and find something new to try." Food was the best way to gain his favor, no matter what it was that someone needed his favor for. He was the sort to eat anything so long as it wasn't alive or looking at him so these sorts of places made it easier to sample a bunch of things. It also tended to get a little expensive, so it worked out that Archie had shoved his foot in his mouth.
