Who: Sheriff Stilinski and Maggie Greene What: Dealing with Beth being gone When: Backdated to yesterday evening Where: The house Warnings: TBA Status: Closed/On-going
It's been a good day at work, a productive day, and he'd been focusing on that so he had something to focus on other than the alarming number of people who had disappeared. And if he was praying like hell that he didn't lose any of his people, well, who could blame him? He was only doing the same thing that almost everybody in town was doing at the moment.
He could tell something in the house was different as soon as he walked in. You could read a house, and he'd argue with anybody who told him otherwise. He wasn't sure who was home, but he was pretty sure it wasn't everybody. His curiosity was answered as soon as he walked into the question and saw Maggie leaning against the kitchen counter, looking like there'd been something was going to do but she'd gotten completely lost in thought about something.
"Maggie?" he asked, concerned. "What's wrong?" Becuase something had to be.
Wait.
"Who's gone?" It had to be.
Wait.
Only one person would hit her like this.
Beth.
"Oh, sweetheart, I'm so sorry," he said, moving closer and reaching out to wrap an arm around her shoulder, pulling her close. "I'm so sorry."
