For a brief moment, she wondered if maybe she had pushed too soon. But then she realized that it would take him more time to get comfortable with the idea, so it was better for him to get used to the idea now so that when the time came, it would be alright to introduce them. Turner didn't take it personally, the fact that he wouldn't meet her eyes anymore or that he couldn't seem to get more than a word out at a time.
It would take a while for Evan to come to terms with it, she knew that about him and loved him all the same. This reaction wouldn't change that.
"He does," Turner replied with a soft smile, her voice warm and honest. She really enjoyed Corso's company and she was hopeful that things would continue to progress in a positive manner. Maybe she was jumping the gun a bit, since who knew what could happen between now and then, but she was hopeful and that sometimes overrode practicality.
"I'll answer any other questions you have about him," she promised, leaving it open ended as to when he felt like asking those questions.
