"We don't want that. Wouldn't want to be on the other side of Jemma's wrath." Raven was joking, though she was sure Jemma could probably kick all of their asses and should never be underestimated.
"And I, alas, did not bring goldfish crackers," she continued, placing the food on the dining room table. "Let's eat first, and then we'll talk about things."
She tried not to sound like it was a dire situation, because it wasn't. She just didn't want him to worry too much. But she was hungry and wanted food right now. She was eating for two now, after all.
