Who: Carson Beckett and Sonya Blade What: Cassie's getting a shot When: Sunday morning Where: The clinic Warnings: Probably none Status: Closed/Match-up/On-going
It was a fairly slow day at the clinic, the kind of day Carson liked. A few people -- largely refugees but a couple townies as well -- coming in for assorted injuries, a couple people with appointments to get some shot or another for their children, but not a lot of people and nothing he had to refer over to the hospital.
He was sitting at the reception desk, going over a couple of files while the person at the desk was on break. Carson was one of those people who had no problems taking over for a while even though he was a doctor; they all pitched in around there. It was a hold-over from the days when the clinic had just opened, and they weren't staffed as well as they needed to be. But more than that, they were good people who willingly helped where they were needed. Carson liked each and every one of his coworkers.
He glanced up when the door opened and a woman came in with her young daughter. Neither seemed injured, so he was taking a fair bet on an immunization shot.
