WHO Ariadne & Zari WHAT Being nosey about Amaar WHEN Recently WHERE The Mosque WARNINGS TBD, probably none STATUS Closed | MATCHUP | InComplete (8/14)
Ariadne wasn't sure why she enjoyed her conversations with Amaar. It was probably for the same reason that she enjoyed Dr Strange's company in that they tested her view of the world, expanded her horizons. Where one had faith, the other had magic and both were far outside her realm of study, which was far too cut and dry to allow for either. Faith was something she was slightly more familiar with and she was curious about the design of the Mosque, how it fit the needs of the faith.
Amaar had said she could come by any time, so she did. This time, it didn't seem like he was there, or if he was he was held up with something else, so Ariadne just started looking around. She'd taken her shoes off where he'd shown her the other day and she'd purposefully come at a time when they wouldn't be in prayer so that she wouldn't disrupt anything. Sometimes her curiosity got the better of her, but it was important that she be respectful of the traditions here, so she stayed just inside the Prayer Hall to stay out of the way while she took in the dome above. Her studies told her that it was meant to represent both the vaults of heaven and the sky though she didn't fully understand why. Religion and faith weren't her strong suits.
A woman approached her and Ariadne immediately took a few steps to the side, assuming that she was in the other woman's way. "Sorry," she murmured, before her attention was taken by the dome above her again. It was much more pleasant than the dome trapping them in Madison Valley.
