Who: K-Mart and Daisy Johnson What: Starbucks run-in When: Saturday morning Where Starbucks Warnings: TBA Status: Closed/Match-up/On-going
It was a workday for K-Mart, but not just yet. She had time to grab something from Starbucks and enjoy it for a little bit before she was off to pick up all the kids -- Sonja was working the day shift, and both Kristof and Piper were busy most of the day, which meant it was one of her "have all the kids!" days. They were chaotic, to say the least, but she was used to it by now. Her theory was, if she could wrangle all the Barton kids then she could wrangle anybody.
Right now, though, she was sitting at a table with her frappucino and playing a game on her phone. Well, not so much playing a game on her phone as half-assed paying attention to her phone and mostly looking at the ring on her hand. It was still kind of unbelievable that she was actually married. It wasn't the way she'd wanted to get married, but at the same time? She wouldn't trade it for anything -- she'd gotten married, and that was what mattered. They'd gotten married, and they had a story that they could tell their children in the future. One hell of a story.
Not that the place wasn't already full of stories, but even so.
She laughed softly, pulling her attention away from the ring and took a sip of her drink. As she did so, she caught sight of a woman looking around. She lifted her hand slightly to catch the woman's attention. "Need a place to sit?" she called out.
