With the scare of "their" century dissipated, life went back to normal in Madison Valley. Well, normal until the next big crazy circumstance happened and then everyone would be freaking out all over again. For Lisa, it didn't really matter either way. Sure, that last scenario had sucked bad because she'd end up losing the friends she'd made here, but after that? Lisa thought the people in this town could handle anything. That was the worst thing that had happened so far since her arrival and she felt if they could weather that? Whatever happened next had to be nothing less than a "walk in the park", right? Or she could seriously be jinxing herself by that statement. Either way, Lisa wasn't going to worry about it at the moment. Nope, not a worry at all. She was going to sit at Verdant and enjoy an overpriced alcoholic beverage because she deserved it...mostly.
Work, like most days, had left her drained and the more she worked in retail, the more she'd come to realize her first impression of people still stood firm. People sucked; there were a rare few who didn't, but for the most part? Yes, they sucked and they especially were a horrid bunch when it came to shopping and not getting what they wanted. Spoiled brats. Of course Lisa knew she was not without her faults too, but these people seriously were worse than her and it took a lot of effort not to tell them just how much worse. It was hypocritical, but Lisa didn't care. She'd actually not stolen anything in a while so she'd earned a little hypocrisy, right? In any case, she currently sipped a cosmo with the hopes and full intent on forgetting those people.
