Gamora still wasn't a huge fan of doughnuts. They were cloyingly sweet and not exactly the sort of delicacy that she enjoyed. Still, she was getting more and more used to Terran food as time passed, so she could enjoy one on occasion. Peter and the kids, of course, loved them.
She gave him a small smile as she sat across from him. It was strange to know that they had so much in common while barely knowing the other's name, but Thanos's terror was so far reaching that that particular problem wasn't as rare as it should have been.
"I'm Gamora," she said, although he probably already knew that. "Thanos...raised me."
He was never her father. Would never be her father. But she couldn't entirely deny their relationship, or the sense of guilt she felt because of it.
