Hermann & OTA
He wasn't sure what had him there, had him attempting to be social. He wasn't good at it, never had been, had been even less so since Vanessa left him. But here he was anyway, looking about as comfortable as he ever was -- which was to say, not very -- and standing off to one side while observing everybody.
It was a little alarming, the number of people that were there. He hadn't been expecting this many people to be in town, this many refugees, and there were ones that weren't at the party. A different person might've quoted 'misery loves company', but that person wasn't Hermann and didn't have his inclination towards solitude.
All that same, he supposed it was nice to see the ability for people to come together and celebrate, he allowed. People, as a general rule, were far more of a social creature than he was. Of course, the same could be said about a pile of sticks and leaves.
People were moving around and mingling and chattering, and Hermann? Was content to stand there and observe.
