Tulip and OTA (multiples okay)
Tulip felt absolutely miserable. She was right at seven months into her pregnancy, and the summer heat just added insult to injury. She loathed the thought of another two months before she gave birth, but on the other hand she didn't want to risk her child's health. So she'd suffer.
It would be worth it in the end, she never doubted that. But if she ever decided to have another baby. she'd want to get pregnant at the end of summer, so she'd be done with pregnancy by the time the temperatures rose.
For now, though, she was sitting in a lounge chair in the shade, a batter powered fan around her neck. She also had an accordion style hand fan in case she needed more air, and a thermos of cold water to drink.
The most notable feature, though, was the ring on her hand. Her wedding ring. She'd been among the impulsive, marrying Jesse in a rushed ceremony. She didn't regret it. She loved him. And especially with a child on the way, they would have been married sooner or later, she was sure of it.
