Fred knew that the possibility of Weiss not surviving her injuries was a good one, if she returned back home. But that was something that he'd rather not think about. He wanted her here, in Madison Valley. Without the possibility of not surviving injuries. He sighed softly, and tried to clear his mind from those thoughts. It wasn't something he wanted to think about at all.
He smiled when she agreed to live with him, and leaned in to kiss her softly. He was pleased with her answer. It was something he'd been thinking about for a while. And he was glad that she was agreeable to the idea. He was just sorry that he had waited for so long to ask her to live with him.
There was a nod from Fred when she suggested an engagement. He knew how she was. Agreeing to an engagement and living with him... it was a huge step for her. "Of course it is, my love," he said with a small smile. He kissed her cheek, and settled against the back of the couch. Even though life in Madison Valley was a bit iffy at the moment, he was happy with the outcome of the day.
