Mary Campbell & Adam
Adam laughed. "We're doing well," he said. "She's old enough to really enjoy the fireworks, so I'm hoping I don't need the earphones, for one thing. For another..."
A shrug that sort of just.. encompassed life. A shrug he was pretty sure she'd get. Because when you were in their situation -- not quite in the same life as Sam and Dean, but still caught up in it -- the connection was different. And also, you had your normal life. So everything was wrapped up together in one package, and balancing was awkward sometimes.
But it was going well for him at the moment. He didn't see Sam as much as he'd like, and he barely saw Dean -- but he knew that if he needed either of them, they'd be there for him in a heartbeat. And just as importantly? So would Mary. He loved that.
