Astrid & Shuri
"Me too! The explosions and colors are truly spectacular against the evening sky." Shuri clapped her hands excitedly at the mention of explosions to mimic the sound. It wasn't nearly as loud, but it was enough.
"We have them sometimes back home for large celebrations. I know that today the country in which this town is located in celebrates their freedom. That is most definitely a reason to celebrate," she explained. Shuri spoke slowly, of course. Making sure Astrid could understand her was important as it was not lost on her that English was not her first language.
"I'm Shuri," she offered, leaning down to extend her hand. Bowing or the traditional Wakandan salute wasn't normal here, thus Shuri settled for offering a handshake.
