Tom Lucitor and Max
Fireworks and parties were two rare things in Max's world. Being that she had a lot on her plate most of the time, there was rarely time to enjoy things like that. Not that there was much to celebrate in Max's world anyway. The Pulse had sucked the life out of people outside of the obvious number it had done on technology. It was obvious here that nothing like the Pulse had ever occurred which simply left Mex confused, but she wasn't going to complain about the one thing she kind of did like about this place. Just the one thing though.
With parties, like in the park, came free food and Max wasn't about to turn down a decent meal that she didn't have to actually pay for. Faced with the idea of eating as many hot dogs as her puma metabolism could handle, she'd headed there first upon arrival to the park. She'd just gotten her hands on her first hot dog when she happened to look over at someone else and just in time to see the ketchup bottle slip from his hand and hit someone in the face. Obviously, he was trying hard not to laugh, but Max was already laughing.
