WHO: Peter Parker and OPEN WHAT: Stuff WHEN: Today WHERE: Roger's Corner WARNINGS: TBD STATUS: Open/Ongoing
Peter was usually a pretty optimistic sort of kid. But recently, things had been kind of hard, what with going home and witnessing (and then being a victim of) the murder of half of the Universe. He wanted someone to blame. He wanted someone to be held responsible. He knew that blaming Peter Quill wasn't fair, but it was something he could fall back on and somewhere to direct all the sadness and anger and despair that kept building up inside of him.
It wasn't like him to feel this way. It felt unnatural. But he couldn't help it.
Helping to fight the demons had helped some. He'd been able to take out some of his anger and helplessness on them, and defeating them took him an inch closer to sanity again. But there was still a long, long way to go.
Now that the demons were gone, he felt a bit of letdown because of that. Things were going back to normal, except that they'd never really be normal again.
But he was trying to ignore that as he went into Roger's corner and bought a chocolate malt, sitting on a stool at the counter. He felt that he deserved a bit of a treat, anyway.
