Kim took a seat on the bed and thumbed through the network. She glanced at Shuri when she put her paws on her forearm and tilted the phone screen so she could see. "Looks like a couple of other people got turned into animals from the sounds of things," she explained. "Not sure how long this is going to last for but maybe we can give it a bit before we freak Alex out?" Kim didn't want their guardian to think it was too much or something. Having two teenagers was definitely a lot, all things considered.
"I guess I could tell you some more about the whole fighting super villains thing. But you have to promise to keep it on the DL okay? I don't want to cause any trouble." She waited for Shuri to give her some sign that she'd keep it to herself and then began to explain a little. "Well, it started when I wanted to make some extra money so I started this website to advertise myself as a babysitter, except my slogan was 'I can do anything' and someone took that a bit literally while trying to contact someone else for help. I was able to help him though and became a sort of hero on call type." It was a little less thrilling when she put it that way, she supposed. Hopefully Shuri thought it was pretty cool.
