Who: Lena Luthor and Dean Winchester...as a puppy
When: Tuesday Evening
Where: Lena's apartment
What: Dean's a puppy!
Warnings: WHO KNOWS?
Status: Closed/In-Progress
There had been a reason why Lena had been adamant about not having a cancellation policy for any event that was planned. Considering the way the dome worked, there were things that happened that were, quite literally, beyond anyone's control.
Today was one of those days it seemed. People in different bodies, different ages, and the like had been one thing. Lena could even understand the whole concept of people believing them to be other people. This was something else entirely.
The phone had been ringing non-stop for a good part of the day as people called in to cancel and reschedule due to an abrupt influx of animals. It seemed, from a few exchanges on the network, that the dome had struck again.
At least it wasn't another blizzard in the middle of the very much needed and wanted warm weather.
Finally able to leave for the day, Lena had made her normal stop to pick up dinner on the way home. It wasn't too long before she was heading to her apartment when she paused just a few steps from her door. The dog wasn't familiar and certainly not one that belonged to anyone she knew. Lena was aware that there were plenty of refugees who had pets of their own, but this was one was entirely new.
And sitting in front of her apartment door.
Approaching with caution, Lena gave the pup a small smile. "Are you lost or are you a new addition to our happy home?" she asked, taking another step closer. He was a cute pup. A bit on the scruffy side, but it gave him character. Setting her bags down, Lena carefully stooped to the pup's level and held out a hand. "Or I'm letting myself into a dangerous trap set by the dome itself. I guess we'll find out, hmm?"
