Of course he lived there. John had been devastated when he woke up and she was gone but he'd kept on doing things and moving. Other than his night of drinking in the puddle jumper and the hangover afterward. It was just his way after all those years in the military losing people. You couldn't stop moving, couldn't stop taking care of things and the people who needed you when you lost people or you'd never move again.
But that didn't mean he hadn't thought about Wanda almost every minute she'd been gone. Or that he'd had a good night's sleep the entire week without her.
With all the snow he was surprised to hear a knock on the door but they'd made preparations for people that were lost just in case so he'd hurried to the door to open it. The person he saw made him forget that there was a blizzard outside and instead he just reached out to pull Wanda into a hug hoping she remembered being here before and knew who he was or this was going to be really awkward in a minute.
