Nico never complained about living in a cave. That was because, for the most part, he really liked it there. It was safe, people didn't bother him much, and the things that bothered other people about living there didn't bother him at all. Add to that the fact that he didn't have to worry about his guardian kicking him out again, and he was really content with living in a dark cave.
But...he really hated winter and had been really looking forward to spring and summer and things getting a little warmer. So when he'd awakened to snow this morning, in June, it had put him in a little bit of a cranky mood. He'd been enjoying the warmer weather and then Madison Valley had to go crap on it, like always. He guessed he shouldn't have been surprised, really.
Cuddled deep inside the cave where the wind and snow couldn't reach him, he still couldn't help but hear Marco calling for him, and he got up with the blanket still wrapped around him and made his way to the cave entrance.
