Eagerly, Lisa claimed a seat at the table and glanced over all the food, truly unsure where to begin to start stocking up her plate. "As am I. It's kind of the two-way friendship street we have going on," Lisa replied, unable to help, but tease back gently. Though Rogue was much stronger than Lisa because of her abilities, Lisa still worried for her friend as much as Rogue probably worried for her, too. "And you and your food. I have no idea where to start eating," she added, laughing a bit as she finally reached for a fried chicken leg, a biscuit and of course some of potatoes. Lisa also poured herself a glass of wine and tipped the bottle into another for Rogue.
At the words, Lisa gave a rare, genuine and sincere smile to the brunette. "I know. And you know I love you for it," she reassured her, sliding the glass across the table towards the other woman. "You won't be losing me anytime soon," she added, giving a wink over the top of her wine glass before taking a small sip.
The next sentiment was an obvious reference to Lenny and Lisa felt bad for Rogue, more so than even herself at the loss of her brother. She knew Rogue had started to fall for her brother and she knew Lenny cared for Rogue too. Having someone you'd fallen for be sent back home was never easy, but for Rogue? It was more difficult because it took her longer to allow herself to care for someone. "No, it's okay," Lisa replied quickly. "In a way, I know it's way worse for you. You don't let people in easy and then to have someone you did get yanked away? No, I get it."
