Eretria had woken up early, before the sun and gone for a run. She blamed Allanon for the running, he'd made sure she had stamina to keep things going when she needed it, and now she ran for the fun of it. When she'd gotten back she'd done some laundry and hung things up to dry in the sun. She was happy it was coming upon summer, she much preferred the warmer weather to the ice cold. She had half her hair in braids today, the tails bouncing as she stretched upward to hang things on the lines she'd stretched between trees. She did stop mid-work though and flung a wadded up wet shirt at the man trying to catch her off guard.

"Nice try. felt you coming" she teased as she rested hipshot, one hand on that hip, a gleam in her eyes. She was amused, though, because she was getting better at this finding him thing. He still caught her off guard half the time, but she was learning. Eyes glinted as she toed the basket out of the way so she wouldn't knock over her hard work.

Allanon ran everyday, usually before work, sometimes, just too and from work. It kept him in shape, and it kept him ready to challenge her and make her sweat. It kept him alive. And he needed that.

And after morning runs came training. As he sought her out, he tried different things, today, teasing her senses and seeing if he could trick them. And she still sensed him, making pride surge in his breast.

"Well done, my student." he smirked and lifted the shirt to hang it, himself. Then he faced her once more, padding closer, toeing off his shoes and moving toward her as silently as a mountain cat might go.

he circled her, and moved closer, then snapped to one side, feinting with both body and intent, even as he slammed a foot down, channeling the Earth, and sent a shot of dirt toward her feet, intending to make her stumble, but not fall.

She laughed as he hung up the shirt for her and shook her head at him. They'd fallen into an easy routine, though it was never quite the same, it was still routine and she liked it. It was better this way. She was happy.

Ere watched him with wary eyes, narrowed and thoughtful as she waited to see what he would try to get her with this time. She fell for the feint but caught the sight of his foot before she committed fully, slamming her own foot down in an attempt to counter Earth with Earth. She didn't have the control, or power, he did but she could at least minimize the damage. She spun on her heel and sent a foot flying at his face.

She managed to part the stream of rocks with her own, sending them harmlessly to the ground, making Allanon grin.

Her oncoming intent did as well, and he spun to meet her foot, one arm rising to grab at her leg and use her momentum against her, one hand extending out to try to catch her side to do the same from there. Always more than one plan, always trying to think ahead. With Eretria growing smarter, stronger, and faster, it was harder to catch her off guard, but he still had a few tricks up his sleeve.

He loved training.

	Ere was getting better every day, she really pushed herself to do so. She couldn't avoid getting caught though and she rolled with it as he threw her, she rolled as she hit the ground, hands hitting the dirt hard, sending her will through the ground and making the Earth respond throwing dirt up at him even as she jumped backwards. 	Allanon was enjoying pushing himself and training her, and finding his own way in this. He used a little bit of his momentum to roll after her, then dodge to the side as the dirt clouded the view for a second. he leaped straight up into the trees and used a branch to swing toward her one arm first, smoothing the Air to move faster as he did so. 	Eretria made an unladylike noise as she hopped back to avoid his arm catching her as he swung by. She groaned as she tripped over a rock and had to throw herself into a back handspring to avoid just crashing to the ground. She jumped up onto the rocks and jumped at him instead. Allanon snerked again, and pursed his lips just so, sending a sound like a bird cawing across the glade. He was learning mimicry slowly by studying with people and with the you-tube videos. It was a useful skill.

As he rolled away at the end of his leap, he spun to see what she was doing, and admired her move. She was growing in skill and he would have to up his moves to keep pushing her.

As she leaped at him, he grinned, hunching slightly lower, and attempting to spin to grab her and use her momentum against her. If he could do that, he could loft her either into the nearby soft underbrush.

	She let him throw her. Landing in the brush and vanishing into it. She worked hard to slip free without making a noise. She slid back into the brush, waiting until he got closer. Then she snaked a hand out to grab his leg and pull hard. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

He moved cautiously, carefully, treading after her. She was learning, yes she was. He had a moment of warning a mere millisecond. Not long enough to pull his leg away, but long enough to plan, and as he was pulled down, his other hand slapped the ground as his high hand gestured just so and water shot from a nearby pond, arced upward just so, then downward, and soaked the area she was in.

He gently kicked her hand to roll free and launched a jump at her area.

	She squeaked as she got soaked by the water and rolled away, scrabbling to her feet before he knocked her over while she was still adjusting her footing. She landed on her back, laughing though, as she pushed a handful of mud into his face. Take that. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Allanon rose, and snerked. "It is." he stretched then sighed. "I'm going to head out to check on the new planting. 	Eretria stretched lazily. "I'll finish laundry then go hunt down dinner for the night. I was thinking rabbit or pheasant. What say you on that?" she asked as she picked up the basket. 	Eretria nodded as she headed into put up the rest of the laundry and grab her hunting gear. She paused at that words that drifted back and she smiled gently.
