Jefferson and Lisa
"I noticed," Lisa replied smoothly. He was definitely good at spinning a good tale or in this town, all of that story could have very well been true. Before coming here, Lisa would not have believed in much of the stuff she found to exist here. It was all, for the most part, things from fiction, but apparently in some worlds they were all real. No, it wasn't a huge jump from metahumans and guns with fantastic capabilities she guessed, but sometimes, it still all felt a little too hard to believe.
At the mention of seeing anything she liked, Lisa's eyes swept the counter, but found nothing that she could deem of value to herself. Before she could point out that she was not nearly as vulnerable as that lady with that vase, he was saying something about shining and reaching for a blue box that Lisa had managed to overlook. Stepping forward, she watching curiously as he opened it and revealed a beautiful, glittering ruby set in...gold. Well, he was certainly getting somewhere with that one, wasn't he?
"Estate piece, huh?" Lisa remarked, studying the item intently and critically at the same time. "Is that real gold?"
