WHO: Barry Allen and OPEN WHAT: Saving the Coffee WHEN: Tuesday morning WHERE: Starbucks WARNINGS: TBD STATUS: Open/Ongoing
Barry's life had been weird lately. And not necessarily weird in a good way. He'd been devastated by Cisco and Caitlin leaving, and that had led him to do strange things like have a one-night-stand with Sarah Lance. He didn't exactly regret it, but he also felt weird about it. It wasn't the kind of thing that Barry Allen did, and while he realized he'd been in a bad place, he almost wished he'd acted in a very different way. It wasn't that he didn't like Sara. He did. He'd just never thought of her that way before and while the sex had been great it felt really weird that he hadn't talked to her since.
She didn't seem upset or anything by that, but it just wasn't his normal MO when it came to relationships. Basically, he wasn't that kind of a guy.
And then he'd gone to naked prom, which was a whole different level of weird.
He felt that somewhere along the way of trying to work out his feelings, he'd lost sight of Barry. And he needed to find that again, because this just wasn't who he was.
After his morning run, and before heading to school, Barry stopped at Starbucks (because caffeine was exactly what a speedster needed). Waiting in line, he noticed someone at a table open a paper, and in so doing, knocked their coffee off the table. In a fraction of a second he was there, holding the coffee in his hand, and offering it back to them with a goofy smile.
