Hotaru & Open
This was far from how Hotaru would spend a typical Friday night. Normally, she would be in her room, surrounded by the warm, comforting glow of her lamps, with a good book propped open in her lap and a cup of tea cooling on her nightstand. Instead, she'd opted out of all of that bliss and decided to endure yet another social event: Prom. Being that Usagi was going, Hotaru knew she too should attend even if Usagi had a date and Hotaru would most likely end up feeling mostly like a third wheel and just out of place even more. Usagi was her friend and yes, she was her princess, but more so, Hotaru was here to support her friend even if she herself was far from comfortable.
Thanks to Setsuna, Hotaru had managed to find a dress that was not over the top revealing, but subtle and pretty. It was purple, the shade somewhat like her senshi fuku and she'd found a matching shawl to go around her bare shoulders should be a bit chilly. Her heel was modest and she wore light make-up. Of course, none of this took away from just how pale she was and that was another thing that left her feeling awkward and self-conscience.
So far, she'd settled at a table and hadn't moved since arriving. There was food and plenty of drinks, but Hotaru felt too queasy to move at the moment.
